Dilemma

This post will talk about a small topic called dilemma. The post is very simple and small this time.
We get into dilemma sometimes for big reasons and sometimes for small too. Dilemma is simply defined as a state of mind where we do not know what to choose. It’s like standing helplessly on the middle of the road from where it divides into two parts. It is called 'Fork on the road'. Simply, it is standing on the centre of Y,
And not understanding which way to go. Just think, in an exam we like multiple choices than fill in the blanks, because we have options in it. In the same way the situation without dilemma is like a fill in the blank where we don’t have any choice and have to go in the only way that we expect to be true. But in the situation of dilemma we have more options like multiple choices. What do we do when we get a choice? We think about it. We think about the other possible way than what we had thought.  So, dilemma is actually good. It makes us to think about all the possible ways of a situation and choose the best than to follow one blindly.
First we must learn to give priority to the situations when we get into dilemma on the basis of important and urgent. If the situation is important but not urgent it means it should be done but not right now. It must be done but later too. If it is urgent but not important, it is not so particular but should be done right there. Like this we have to rate the situations and then proceed to the next step. For example, let us think we are going to submit an important record at the lab and we got a call that our friend, say Abhijith, had met with an accident. Now what to do? Should we go and assist him or submit the record? Submitting the record is important, but not urgent. We can do it any time. But going to Abhijith is both important and urgent, so skip the lab and go to him first. In this way we can rate any situation and overcome the dilemma. If the dilemma is about choosing something then close your eyes and think what you want. If you want something and you have it in choice don’t think of anything just go for that. Remember one thing, nothing is important than you for yourself. It’s you first and everything else next.
These are the best possible ways to work with dilemma. Try, they’ll surely work. So never worry about dilemma, dilemma is actually good.
