We all know that managing stress has become an important
element for every working person as the places of work has become much
pressurised now a days. Managing stress and works is also an important criterion
for a best employee in this corporate world. Stress is a point where work
increases than our capacity. The main thing is that how you manage those works
and handle them. Once if you come to know that we are going to be under pressure,
then you shouldn’t get tensed. You should relax, have a sip of some juice or
have a bite and start thinking about how to face the problem.
First analyse the
tasks you have and arrange them according to the urgent-important technique
discussed in previous post (Dilemma). Imagine all the works in an order on your
mind.
Then count down your days and assign a specific number of
days for each work. If you feel uncomfortable to imagine, take a pen and put
everything in your mind on the paper.
Don’t ever assign exact time that a task would take. Always allot
more time than it require. The reason for this is main key point, if you give
exact time that means your bounding yourself to do the work in a limited time. That
means stress! The entire plan you had laid to decrease stress ruins here. Splitting
the work, assigning more time, working peacefully is the main theme of stress
management. This idea would be beautiful if you can work according to the plan.
Becoming lazy as the time is more pushes us out of the plan. Make sure you lay
a correct plan and work without becoming lazy.
This is how we manage stress in our work. But the doubt whether
we can complete the task or not always pricks our mind and makes us tensed. Mental
peace in such times is very necessary. Listening to music is the way I prefer
the most. Other than this we can get recreation by going to parks, talking to
friends, practising yoga. Talking to people older than 60 years and kids younger than 6 years
will make us feel happy; this is also a beautiful idea. So we have many ways to
manage stress and plan our works. Try it out and you will see how easy it will
be to work on stress.
