People always think that they
have all the hard time in the world. No one ever chooses to be born as someone.
Life is a maze, a play ground. You get hardships, you get troubles, and you
must cross them. They are made to be crossed. There is no big trouble that you
cannot overcome. If there is one, you find the way to get out of it. That is
how you win in maze of life. Sun rises on all days, sunny, stormy, winter,
cloudy, all days. No matter what happens, it never stops. In the same way, let
anything come in your way, you must not give up. Life must go on. Hardships are
just hurdles that you must jump over when you are running. Just think, in this
whole universe, ours is a small galaxy, in that a small solar system, in that a
small planet, and in that small you and me. So how small your problem is
then? There is no point to feel low because of these problems. Will power of
man is powerful than anything in universe. Hardships are meant to overcome and
you can do it.! HB's corner

Hardships are meant to overcome
People always think that they

man is powerful than anything in universe. Hardships are meant to overcome and
you can do it.! Life is all about learning
Life is all about learning. Learning every day is living every day. Life
is a never ending learning process. What is the difference between people
before decades and us? It’s what we have learnt in these years. Learning is a
kind of in-habitation. Growing up means to learn what life is. Our growth, both
individual and growth of humans, means that we are learning new things day by
day. Let the situation be good or bad you have to learn something from it. In
most of the cases you don’t even know that you are learning. For example, you
walk around in your work place and accidentally hit something and get hurt. The
next day you learn not to get hurt, so you keep away from that. In the same way
when you are a kid you had put your finger in fire and learnt that fire burns.
That is how you have learnt how to walk, how to speak and everything you are
able to do today. Even if you do something stupid you learn that it’s stupid
only after doing it. It is more over like experience. Experience and learning
go hand by hand. You learn from experiences, yours and other’s experiences too.
The more experiences we have the more we learn about something. You do not
learn a few things and become perfect, if you are learning at least something
every day you are already a perfect human. Learning is unending. So let’s all
say ‘life is all about learning’.Friday, February 15, 2013
Cool thinking is so Cool
Hey people. It has been a long time since I've written a
post. In this, I'm going to explain how thinking capabilities work in a
different situations and tips to make it better.
Thinking is the endless work we do every second. There is no
time in our life when we are not thinking anything. We always have some or
other thoughts Thoughts are our ideas about anything which we see, hear, and
speak. Our mind fetches any one of this media to create thoughts about. If you
are stubborn enough, you can try not to think anything for a while. Clear all
the thoughts in your mind and try to stop thinking. But that actually is an
illusion. You will be still thinking about how it would be without any thoughts
or without thinking anything. Even while we are sleeping we think in form of dreaming. So,
thinking is an unstoppable act that always runs in our mind.
Now, let’s imagine a situation where we are calm and in a
relaxed mood, our thoughts will be about peace and happiness. In such times we
usually think about memories, happy memories obviously. But imagine a situation
when we are tensed, can we think like the same..? I recently had such an
encounter. A few days back, I was going to college as usually and found that my
ID card was missing which should be right in my bag. I almost reached my
college and didn't have time to walk back to room and search for it. I settled
in my class with full tension and wet fore head soaked in sweat. The only one
thing I remembered well was that I've kept my ID in my bag the before evening
but it was not there. I became blank and wasn't able to recollect anything. Then
my friend asked me to relax and think. He said ‘you mind is trying to fetch a false memory or memory of some other day’. I relaxed having some water.
Not more than two minutes, I got reminded that I had took my ID for a Xerox and
kept it in my shelf. Everything we do will be recorded in our mind in sub-conscious
memory; all we need is a relaxed mind to access it. Tension blocks our thinking
capacity. So we should practice to think better in all the situations. Getting tensed
is the most useless thing ever. Half of our brain’s capacity will be eaten up for settling the tension and reasons for it. So from today let’s be cool and think cool.
There is a small tip
I always use, if you get tensed, never think about the reason for tension. It increases
your tension. Think about how to stop it, stop getting tensed and try to find a
solution for the situation. If you are worried or feeling low, then search for
the reason and just tell your mind that it is going to be okay and try to
forget that. You will feel much better.

Stress Management
We all know that managing stress has become an important
element for every working person as the places of work has become much
pressurised now a days. Managing stress and works is also an important criterion
for a best employee in this corporate world. Stress is a point where work
increases than our capacity. The main thing is that how you manage those works
and handle them. Once if you come to know that we are going to be under pressure,
then you shouldn’t get tensed. You should relax, have a sip of some juice or
have a bite and start thinking about how to face the problem.
First analyse the
tasks you have and arrange them according to the urgent-important technique
discussed in previous post (Dilemma). Imagine all the works in an order on your
mind.
Then count down your days and assign a specific number of
days for each work. If you feel uncomfortable to imagine, take a pen and put
everything in your mind on the paper.
Don’t ever assign exact time that a task would take. Always allot
more time than it require. The reason for this is main key point, if you give
exact time that means your bounding yourself to do the work in a limited time. That
means stress! The entire plan you had laid to decrease stress ruins here. Splitting
the work, assigning more time, working peacefully is the main theme of stress
management. This idea would be beautiful if you can work according to the plan.
Becoming lazy as the time is more pushes us out of the plan. Make sure you lay
a correct plan and work without becoming lazy.
This is how we manage stress in our work. But the doubt whether
we can complete the task or not always pricks our mind and makes us tensed. Mental
peace in such times is very necessary. Listening to music is the way I prefer
the most. Other than this we can get recreation by going to parks, talking to
friends, practising yoga. Talking to people older than 60 years and kids younger than 6 years
will make us feel happy; this is also a beautiful idea. So we have many ways to
manage stress and plan our works. Try it out and you will see how easy it will
be to work on stress.Friday, September 28, 2012
Writer's special
Hey people, this is a small poem by me. Its my first one. Hope you like it.
When he was gone and no more,
Like a road which is dirty and narrow,
Her life was filled with sorrow
Like a bird from a cage she became,
After all the pain she overcame
Like a rain she broke into tears,
Telling about all her fears
But,
There was love in the tears of hatred,
There was love in the words of anger,
There was love in the deeds of fear,
There was love in the weeps of agony,
When she said,
“I miss him…!”

Dilemma
This post will talk about a small topic called dilemma. The post
is very simple and small this time.
We get into dilemma sometimes for big reasons and sometimes for
small too. Dilemma is simply defined as a state of mind where we do not know
what to choose. It’s like standing helplessly on the middle of the road from
where it divides into two parts. It is called 'Fork on the
road'. Simply, it is standing on the centre of Y,
And not understanding which way to go. Just think, in an exam we
like multiple choices than fill in the blanks, because we have options in it.
In the same way the situation without dilemma is like a fill in the blank where
we don’t have any choice and have to go in the only way that we expect to be
true. But in the situation of dilemma we have more options like multiple
choices. What do we do when we get a choice? We think about it. We think about the
other possible way than what we had thought. So, dilemma is actually
good. It makes us to think about all the possible ways of a situation and
choose the best than to follow one blindly.
First we must learn to give priority to the situations when we get
into dilemma on the basis of important and urgent. If the situation is
important but not urgent it means it should be done but not right now. It must
be done but later too. If it is urgent but not important, it is not so
particular but should be done right there. Like this we have to rate the
situations and then proceed to the next step. For example, let us think we are
going to submit an important record at the lab and we got a call that our
friend, say Abhijith, had met with an accident. Now what to do? Should we go
and assist him or submit the record? Submitting the record is important, but
not urgent. We can do it any time. But going to Abhijith is both important and
urgent, so skip the lab and go to him first. In this way we can rate any
situation and overcome the dilemma. If the dilemma is about choosing something
then close your eyes and think what you want. If you want something and you
have it in choice don’t think of anything just go for that. Remember one thing,
nothing is important than you for yourself. It’s you first and everything else
next.
These are the best possible ways to work with dilemma. Try,
they’ll surely work. So never worry about dilemma, dilemma is actually good.

Turning pain to power

The title itself appears strange about turning pain to power. Pain
in the sense is not suffering. It means psychological pain or mental stress.
Why do we have to undergo such pain or stress..?
Pain can be merely explained as a feeling which we get when
something odd happens. The further reasons of one’s individual pain depends on
his/her personal life or problems. For example a student’s problem could be
about his studies. For a working person it differs. Whatever the reason is pain
leads to only one point, 'Depression'. We get depressed for very small
reason almost every day, sometimes we express it and sometimes we don’t. So let
us now classify pain in levels. The pain due to very small incidents we face every
day is of first level. It has an impact of few hours or might be a day.
The incidents that penetrate in to our minds like losing someone
close to us or being insulted by someone may be in the office or in class,
these kind of incidents give us pain which pricks our heart every day which is
of second level. This kind of pain can be very powerful weapon in our hands. If
we can think why we had faced such a situation and strive to avoid it next
time, we can be a champ. For example, if our teacher scolds for not doing a
project properly, it gives us pain. If we are able to use that pain as a weapon
to take revenge on the situation and work hard on it, we’ll have a beautiful
project in our hands. This idea works for all other level two painful situations.
The third level of pain happens only with very sensitive or weak
hearted people. The reason of pain might be very small for a normal person but
for them, it means a lot. They get depressed in a very bad way living out from
the world leaving everything. This is the same situation of a person who
commits suicide. They get depressed so much thinking that quitting their lives
would be much better than to feel that pain. But this is not at all correct.
Quitting from our life means to give up, being a coward to face the situations.
Remember, always we should handle the situations, don’t let the situations
handle us. We don’t know how the life changes. Spring comes only after winter.
So fight till the end to win the final battle. Longer the struggle, greater the
victory! Change the pain to live, to fight! Fight using the pain. That’s the
ultimate power! That’s the urge to victory!
There is always a chance within us to turn the pain to
anger. That is getting angry on the reason of pain. It is like becoming angry
on the teacher for our mistakes in the example we've seen above. Anger
also has a very similar impact as the power from pain but in a negative way.
This can lead to a very dangerous mental condition. Getting angry on the person
who insults us could make us to put the person in trouble. Getting angry on a
company could make us leave the company. But we are the final failures for
these consequences. It’s we who lose everything in anger. Everybody asks us to
count ten when we get angry. For many people this does not sound useful.
Counting ten doesn't mean to count ten and then get angry. It means to think
for a minute about what we are doing.
The most dangerous anger is the anger on the society or humankind.
Becoming angry on all the people will result in losing the respect on human
lives. People who don’t have such respect are called ’Terrorists’. These kinds
of people don't care for life. Angry pre-matured young minds can be injected
such stuff which can turn them into merciless man-eaters. So always be far from
anger.
And that’s how converting our pain to a positive power will bloom
great flowers in our lives. Try them with your situations and see it by
yourself.
